1. PURPOSE OF POLICY

Aleph Accounting  is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) covers how we collect, use, store, and share your information in connection with your use of the Aleph Accounting  website(“Website”) and in connection with our marketing and client intake practices. This Policy does not cover our data practices for Aleph Accounting clients in their capacity as clients which is subject to the terms of engagement letters between Aleph Accounting and its clients, nor data practices related to scenarios where Aleph Accounting enters into a nondisclosure agreement (or similar agreement) with prospective clients. Any conflict between the terms of this Policy and engagement letters or nondisclosure agreements shall be construed in favor of the terms in the applicable engagement letter or nondisclosure agreement. As used herein, “Personal Data” means information which on its own,or in combination with other information, may be used to identify you as an individual. All References to “we”, “us”, “our”, refer to Aleph Accounting, Inc., an Israel professional corporation. All references to “you”, “your”, or “user” refers to Website visitors and individuals who have opted to provide Personal Data to us on our website to receive marketing information from us or to request more information and/or a consultation with us (“InterestedUser”). By visiting and continuing to use the Website and/or by opting to become an Interested User, you agree to this Policy and you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

Information You Voluntarily Provide Us.

When you sign up as an Interested User on our Website or through other forms, which may be hosted on the Website or outside of our Website, you will be required to provide us your name, email, phone number, and your company name (if applicable). In addition, you may choose to provide us with additional information when you sign up as an Interested User. While you have the right not to provide us with this information, we may not be able to contact you about our offerings and consultations if you choose not to provide us with such information and Personal Data.

In addition, we may now or in the future offer forms or other functionalities on the Website which allow users to contribute information about their business, such as calculators for business tax estimates. In the event that you choose to provide information through such forms, we may analyze such data, and use such data in anonymized and aggregated form for marketing purposes.

    • Analytical - These cookies are used by third party service providers to analyze how the Website is used and how the Website is performing. Do Not Track Signals.

To the extent that we receive any Do-Not-Track signals, we will not comply with them as we do not track users’ online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services.

 

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Our Personnel.

To be able to effectively provide you with the Website and to inform you of our services as an Interested User, and to improve the functionality of the Website and our services, we may disclose your Personal Data to our personnel, including our employees, contractors, and agents, to the extent that such persons or entities have a need-to-know such information in furtherance of their job functions as service providers of Aleph Accounting.

Our Vendors.

We may provide your Personal Data to third party service providers to provide website hosting, maintenance, data processing, customer service, customer relationship management, and other services for us in furtherance of our services.

Sale of Company or Assets.

In the event that we sell all or substantially all of our company or its assets, including the Personal Data collected by us as described herein, we may transfer your information to the acquiring company with or without notice to you.

Other Third Parties.

In addition to our practices described above, we may share your Personal Data if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law (see the section below on “Government Requests”), (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Aleph Accounting, or (3) prevent an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury to any person.

 

4. STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Duration of Storage of Your Personal Data.

We will store your Personal Data until you request that we delete such data, at which time we will do so to the extent technically feasible within a reasonable period of time following such request. However, if required by applicable law, we may retain your Personal Data for such period as may be required by such law. To continue to provide an effective service, we may store on-Personal Data perpetually and may anonymize your Personal Data and store that anonymized information perpetually.

Security.

We use reasonable efforts to secure your Personal Data and to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you. For example, we require our personnel and third-party vendors to sign confidentiality agreements. In addition, we use reasonable technical safeguards such as encryption and secure hosting provided by industry leading third party vendors, to secure your Personal Data. However, loss, misuse, and alteration may occur despite our efforts to protect your Personal Data. We are not responsible to our users or to any third party due to any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

 

5. YOUR CHOICES

If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by contacting us as described at the end of this Policy. 

 

6. GOVERNMENT REQUESTS

From time to time, we may receive requests from government agencies to obtain information about users. In handling such government requests, we greatly value the privacy of your PersonalData, however, we may turn over your information in accordance with such requests if we believe such action is warranted.

 

7. THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND PRACTICES ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL

 

Our Website and services utilize numerous third-party services as part of the functionality of the Service. We may share your Personal Data with third parties as explained in this Policy. We have no control over such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of such third parties. We make no guarantees about, and assume no responsibility for, the information, services, or data/privacy practices of third parties.

Aleph Accounting reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time, with or without notice to you. If you continue to use the Website, you consent to the new Policy. We will always have the latest Policy posted on the Website.
